Gobo the Goblin

Back in April 2009, I was asked to write and illustrate a children’s book for a high school creative writing class.

I did not get along with the teacher, as she intentionally abused the definition of “creative” to make everything quite controlled and boring. So, I often bent her rules and gave her work that went around her rules. I made this book sarcastically in order to irritate her. I did this through the intentionally sloppy artwork and total confusion of morals. I got a B.

A little while later I recorded the “audiobook” for fun. Then I tried to sync the artwork and audiobook as a video, but I never finished it. Until now. The background music is a new addition.
