A short trailer that I made when thinking of how to post my old Audiosplice videos. Basically, I thought there too many to post on a  weekly basis, because it would take nearly two years.

However, the plans fell apart when the remasterization process proved more time consuming than I had hoped.

GrimAtomic Trailer

Just after creating this website in April 2011, I thought I ought to make a trailer to redirect my YouTube subscribers. At the time, the site was still called GrimAtomic. I rushed the video out in about half an hour by using the left over production scraps of "Breaking the Fourth Wall." No dialogue is spoken, and the animation lasts about 15 seconds. The rest is on screen text and the old spinning logo. I removed the video almost immediately after posting it. For some reason, it felt too rushed and sloppy. And now its obsolete because of the name change..

This video was never finished. It chronicles my brief, one day attempts to find an online source of Rebirth of Mothra 3 in English. I did this because I knew it had not been released in the United States, except on television, and the only bootlegs I could see were Japanese DVD-rips. It just baffled me that nobody had recorded the English broadcast. I didn't think it was true, so I tried to prove myself wrong. Seems I was right though, nobody ever recorded it.

The clip shows David, in American Werewolf, flipping through television stations. I replaced the images on the TV with clips of other things, including Santa ChristAwesome Center, and 500 Movie Moments. I removed it because I felt that people should watch the videos from their original uploaders and not my out of context chunks. I did try making an alternate version using my own videos, but it just confused people.

The Ad Pit

This video was left unfinished because I lost faith in the project. Rightfully too. The video was the first episode in a hopeful series where I would review and rant about terrible commercials, which I am notorious for among friends and family. However, it seems writing, which I did not do for this, may have helped. It was bad. I rushed because I was excited. I did record and watch entire commercial breaks and infomercials in a massive "harvest." Maybe I will revisit this someday, but the original is never getting in anyone else's eye sockets. Ever.

This video was a sloppy and quick automatic montage set to the 2005 Mallard Bros anthology "Special Day 3." Auto-Montages are created automatically by Windows Movie Maker 6, meaning that my creative input was equivalent to telling the artist what to paint and then watching TV for several hours. The featured music was "One Winged Angel" from Final Fantasy VII. I decided to un-post it due to its esoteric subject matter. Not to mention its absurd 7 minute runtime.

These two separate videos showed the various nods and homages to American Werewolf in London made throughout the work of Edgar Wright (SpacedShaun of the Dead, and Hot Fuzz.) I did not think either of my vids was done very well. The first got blocked in Britain, where more people were likely to watch it. The second had no audio, since I couldn't find a clip of "Shaun" in any language other than German at the time. To put it bluntly, I could have done it better, and wish I had.

This was, sadly, my most viewed original video of all time. Though "original" may be a stretch.

The video shows the famous transformation scene from American Werewolf in London, but replaces the normal audio with different music. In the movie, the song "Blue Moon" by Sam Cooke plays over the scene. Elmer Bernstein, the composer for the film, had written a musical score for the transformation, but Director John Landis chose not to use it.

The composition was performed and released by City Of Prague Philharmonic in 2005. My video synced this performance with the original scene to show what it may have been like with the composer's alternate music. However, the views came flooding in very quickly, and many, many people complained about my alterations. Since the point was not to show the scene out of context, and therefore keep people from watching the whole film, I pulled it. Too bad too. I liked it.

Trogdor!!!

A brief, stupid video of me playing the Trogdor game over on homestarrunner.com. The theme music plays over the video, and I totally fail at life when attempting to stomp peasants and burninate the thatch-roofed cottages.

The original descriptions reads: "Me playing Trogdor. Yeah, I was bored enough to record it... So?"

This was a brief montage of early plane test footage set to the theme music of the film Airplane! Though I liked the video, and people thought it was funny, I did not compile the actually montage portion. I had borrowed it from another YouTube user. However, I forgot until later. It felt weird posting a video that was technically by someone else, even though dozens of people had used the exact same compilation of clips. Eventually though, my nagging weird feeling got the best of me and I removed it.
